Barbara Jane (Davis) Bates, daughter of Clarence “Bill” and Alberta “Birdie” Davis, Redfield, passed away November 15, 2023 at the Chandler Regional Hospital, Chandler, Arizona. She was 81 years old and a 1960 graduate of Redfield High School. She married Charles “Chuck” Bates in 1966 and moved to Pensacola, Florida, where they resided until Chuck’s death. Barbara then moved to Arizona to be near family.

   She is survived by her son, Michael (Zola) Bates, Texas, grandson Dakota Bates, two sisters; Ramona Rice and Pat (Don) Burton, sister-in-law Diane Davis, Chandler, Arizona, and numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles “Chuck” Bates, siblings Lvbern, Lloyd, Maxine and Vincent.
