Ten Redfield students participated in the Region IV Oral Interp Contest held in Aberdeen on the campus of NSU on Tuesday, November 13.
Advancing to State, which will be held in Watertown on November 30 and December 1, was the Readers Theatre team with their selection, “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon.” Team members include Isabella Cosato, Macy Fliehe, Jade Jensen, Amelia Jungwirth, Abigail Taylor and Elsa Wren. Elizabeth Fixsen also advanced to State in the poetry category.
Finishing as alternates in 4th place were Jensen and Cosato in duets and Breanna Roth in serious reading. Wren also competed in storytelling, and Tahlur Lambert presented in humorous.
The team is coached by Mrs. Kaylin Frost.
