PARKSTON—Tripp-Delmont-Armour clipped Redfield-Doland 47-45 in girls’ basketball action during the Parkston Classic on December 30th. The loss is the first of the season for Redfield-Doland, now 4-1.
The Pheasants overcame a slow offensive start to battle to within two points of Tripp-Delmont-Armour late in the game, but could not convert to take home the win. After only scoring seven points in the entire first half of play, the Pheasants regrouped at the half, and nearly outscored the Nighthawks putting up 21 points in period three.
TDA (3-1): Mattilynn Reiner finished with 21 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Kianna Payer added 11 points, seven boards and three steals. Bailey Spaans finished with nine points and eight rebounds.
RD (4-1): Kailee Clausen paced Redfield-Doland with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Eve Millar recorded 16 points and five rebounds. Georgia Kuehn notched 10 rebounds.
