Depot Decorated for the Holidays

Redfield Depot welcomed visitors to its open house on Dec. 13th and 14th. Cookies and warm drinks were available. Santa and Mrs. Claus made a special guest appearance on Sat. Every room of the station was decked out in holiday lights and trim. The ladies at the depot said that theyd put up all the decorations slowly, over several weeks. Festively decorated items included trains, mini towns, Christmas trees, and moving dolls. A tree in the old ticket office was surrounded by angels. The depot had special train and community ornaments available for sale.
