The streets (and hallways) were filled with happy, costumed characters on Halloween. Between Trunk or Treat on Main Street, the care homes, senior apartments, and trick-or-treating from house to house, one could make off with a bagful of candy. Quite a few Blueys and Bingos were spotted. Some had blow-up costumes of dragons or robots. There were cheerleaders, witches, princesses, and mermaids. Harry Potter was a popular group theme. People of all ages dressed up for the event. Businesses and private citizens were lined up along the street to distribute candy. There was even a dancing mattress. Around town, several houses were lit up with Halloween displays.
