SIOUX FALLS A 29-year-old man died in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Monday evening 2 miles east of Sioux Falls.
The name of the person involved has not been released pending notification of family members.
Preliminary crash information indicates the driver of a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Interstate 90 near mile marker 401. The motorcycle left the road to the right and entered the south ditch, crashed into a fence and separated the driver from the motorcycle. The driver died at the scene from his injuries. He was wearing a helmet.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
