Several motorcyclists have been seen coming through town on their way to Sturgis for the annual motorcycle rally, which runs Fri. Aug. 2nd-Sun. Aug 11th. Dave and his son-in-law Mike, of West Fargo, ND, stopped at Appels to cool off from the 95-degree heat. Dave said hed been riding since the 80s. He used to drive out to the rally every year with a group of friends. Some years he still does, but this year it was just the two of them riding together. Dave said that they always make a point of stopping in Redfield on their way.
