Redfield Mayor Frank Schwartz made an appearance at Redfield Middle School / High School Wednesday morning, April 17th, 2024. His surprise arrival was put into motion after teammate Kevin Weller had the idea of an award for a perfect game pitched by Elijah Morrissette against Hamlin on Saturday April 13th.
The Mayoral Proclamation proclaiming April 13th, 2024 as Elijah Morrissette Day in Redfield was presented to Elijah during Mr. Osborns Government class in recognition of the perfect game he pitched.
