Redfield Area Arts Council delivered their annual performance at the Senior Center in Redfield this year. Three separate showings were available to the public; the evenings of Friday March 1st and Saturday March 2nd, along with the afternoon of Sunday March 3rd. Interested parties were able to purchase a ticket for the showing of their choice. Both evening performances were complete with a meal, made by Ray Johnson and desert made by Jill Hansen. The afternoon performance offered a desert bar made by Graysons Corral.
Upon entering, one was certain to notice the elegant table cloths, napkins, and chair covers paired with beautiful red roses as the center pieces of each table. The flower arrangements were donated by Country Classics. Props were set up in front of the tables for the audience to view from their seats.
The first course of the dinner theater began with a salad, some rather delicious dinner rolls, and your choice of coffee or water. Act One of the play was followed by the main course, Swiss Steak. Act Two was then followed by dessert and the handout of accusation sheets. Before Act Three began, the accusation sheets were collected. The final act (act three), revealed the killer in the play. Winners were announced at the end.
Actors in the play were, Raymond Johnson as Paul, Christina Fischer as Lucy, Dianne Wegner as Sandra, Melissa Rowenhorst as Simone, Kathy Logue as Alison, Laurie Richards as Roberta, and Kate Hartung as Elaine. Each actor has been in multiple plays with the exception of Laurie Richards, who delivered her first performance during this show. A stunning performance was given by each of the actors.
