The induction of the new National Honor Society members was held Friday, February 5th, at the Redfield High School Auditorium. The ceremony was led by the senior members that had been inducted into the prestigious organization their junior year of high school.

In order to be eligible for National Honor Society, the students had to accumulate a 3.5 GPA or higher their whole high school career. Students applying for NHS were required to fill out a 7-page application based on all of the characteristics mentioned in the previous sentence. The new members were then selected by a board of teachers that evaluated their service, character, leadership and scholarship.

All students applying also had to have a letter of recommendation written to the National Honor Society Board by a person of the community that could confirm their character and service. National Honor Society is a prominent honor not only at Redfield High School, but also at high schools across the nation.
