State “A” Girls Golf

The State “A” Girls Golf Tournament was held in Hot Springs on May 21st and 22nd. Competing for the Pheasants was Sara Lemmer. Southern Hills Golf Course in Hot Springs is a very difficult course. There are many elevation changes and slopes that we are not familiar with in east river. Given all that, Sara did herself and her school proud. On Monday, Sara played very good golf shooting a 113. She did struggle on a couple holes but on the rest, played very well. On Tuesday, Sara again played very good golf. She had some struggles with her putting on a couple of holes but overall played very well. Her two day total of 228 placed Sara in a tie for 82nd place. Thanks for your efforts Sara and good luck in your future which will hopefully include playing golf for many years to come.
