Northwestern loses to Webster

The Northwestern Wildcats (4-11) lost to the Webster Bearcats (3-12) 45-54 in a non-conference boys’ basketball game on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010 in Mellette.
After the first quarter, the score was 4-14 with the Bearcats leading. At half-time, the score was 12-25. After the third quarter, the score was 18-39.
For the Wildcats, Josh Clemens led scoring with 17 points. Grasen Lechner added 11 points. Michael Smith had nine points.
For the Bearcats, Kyle Whitmyre led scoring with 17 points.
The Wildcats had 18 rebounds and the Bearcats had 19 rebounds. Northwestern had 19 turnovers and Webster had six turnovers. Northwestern had three steals and Webster had 10 steals.
