The Redfield Hospital Auxiliary had a short business meeting following their soup and sandwich money-raising project held at the American Legion on January 26.

President Mildred Ratigan conducted the meeting of nine members.

A card was received from the hospital wishing our members a Happy New Year. There was a health report on Ada Rae Harford who is in the Aberdeen hospital.

Mildred visited with Hospital Administrator Terry DeJong about the following items: putting up a memorial board that includes names of people who donated items to the hospital, all items the Auxiliary donated to the hospital since 1951, and our oldest scrap book. He also hopes to have a big opening celebration of the new addition in August.

We went over pros and cons in regard to our soup and sandwich project. We also figured the number of hours everyone worked in making cookies for the KC Blood Drive and our recent project.

Marsha Hofer is to make tray favors for February.

Our next meeting is February 24, 1:30pm in the conference room of Sunset Court. Geri Heim will furnish lunch.
