Redfield United Methodist Church

The Redfield United Methodist Church will be collecting funds for Haiti. All funds marked for Haiti and contributed through the Redfield UMC will be sent to the Dakotas Annual Conference office in Mitchell, which will send 100% of the funds to UMCOR for earthquake relief and recovery.
United Methodist Women President Jane Cartner “pinned” three members of the congregation for their lives of Christian service, Jean Downing, Judy Masat, and Roland Nielson. Pastor Stephen Perry installed 2010 UMW officers. They are; Jane Cartner-President, Marsha Solheim-Vice President, Michelle Schilling-Secretary, Jean Downing-Treasurer, Shirley Paulson-Nominations, Arlie Rodman-Nominations, Jean Skarin-Nominations, Delores Avery-Nominations, Myrna French-Secretary of Program Resources, Marilee Engelbrecht-Spiritual Growth, Deb Green-Social Action, Kaye Harr-Education and Interpretation, Donna Ronnfeldt-Membership, Nurture, Outreach, Joan Kegler-Publicity, betty Josewski-Publicity, Joan Eaton-Campus Ministry, Ruth Yada-Courtesy, and Judy Masat-Purchasing Agent.
On Friday, February 12, the UMYF will take a trip under the leadership of Martin Avery to the Tree of Life in Mission, SD. The Tree of Life is a Dakotas United Methodist mission project to and with Lakota people working on the Rosebud Reservation.
On Wednesday, February 3 the congregation is invited to attend the program during the United Methodist Women’s meeting. World War II veterans who participated in the recent “Honor Flight” will present a program about their trip. The UMW will meet at 2pm and the program will begin about 2:30.
