December 13, 2009; Frankfort Ringnecks 4-H Club Christmas meal donation. Sarah Bebo, Stuart Meyer, Luke Holt, Megan Hyke, Jordanne Howe, Isabel Blume, Jacklyn Meyer, Alexis Esser, Brooke Richmond, and Sheila Price

The Frankfort Ringnecks had their Christmas party on December 30, 2009. They met at 3:00 PM at Don and Jenny Kissners and had a sledding party. Following that everyone and their families met at the Courthouse at 6:00 PM and shared a potluck meal, with a short meeting after. Wayne Price led the meeting with 6 members present and 1 visitor. Sheila Price will send a thank you note to Kissners; everyone who was able to come to the sledding had fun. The 4-H members had met at the Good Samaritan Center December 13, 2009 with their items for the Christmas meal that the 4-H Club contributed to a local family; they did not have a meeting at that time. Sheila Price moved and Jerritt Kelsey seconded to pay Brenda for the memorial she sent to the Blake family for the loss of their son and brother. Motioned carried. Jerritt moved and Megan Hyke seconded that each family sell 2 boxes of candy bars as a fund raiser for the 4-H Building and the Club. Motioned carried. The 4-H building was discussed and it was noted that fund raising will need to continue as there is more to having the building than just getting it built. Jerritt moved to adjourn the meeting, Jordan Hansen seconded, motion carried. the next meeting will be January 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Courthouse basement. The candy bars came in January 14, 2010, please pick them up and begin selling them. We can turn the money in at the next meeting or turn it in at the extension office as we get them sold.
