The South Dakota “Hunt Safe” (hunter safety) program will be offered on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28.
The classes will run from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Persons taking the class must attend all classes to receive the full ten hours of certification required.
The classes will be held in the lunchroom of the Redfield High School. Please have students eat lunch before coming the the class.
The class is offered free of charge. Anyone in the Spink County area is welcome to attend.
Registration forms may be picked up in the Redfield Elementary School office. Once filled out they can be brought to the first class.
Students from other schools may pick up a registration form on the first day of class.
Please include the last four digits of the students social security number on the registration.
Anyone between the ages of 12 and 16, that is planning to hunt, is required to take this course to receive certification before hunting. You may also take the class at age 11.
