The Redfield Knights of Columbus continue to raise funds for the purchase of much needed equipment for the Spink County Ambulance.

According to Knights of Columbus member Jim Baloun, “We are getting close to our goal total but need to continue our efforts.”

The fundraiser for the purchase of two defibrillators came to public attention after a meeting of the Redfield City Council on December 7 at which Baloun and Mike Sanger, head of the Ambulance squad were present. In addition to the City of Redfield, the Knights of Columbus also approached the Spink County Commissioners in regards to the project.

To contribute to the fundraising you may contact any Knights of Columbus member. The Knights of Columbus would like to raise enough every couple of years for the squad to be able to purchase needed items.
