Posted

New to Wild Roots, located at 608 Main Street in Redfield, is Grayson’s Corral. Meals were first available to customer in the café area of this location on August 23rd, 2023. Customers can sit down and enjoy a delicious meal, good conversations, and a delightful ambiance. A full, regular menu; which includes breakfast and lunch options, is available in addition to a daily special. Hours of operation are from 6:30 am to 3:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday.

Samantha Manes of Rockham, SD has always enjoyed cooking, baking, and trying different things. She started out making cookies and delivering them to the Redfield and Faulkton areas. This later led into making sandwiches as well. Her clientele grew which made her think of setting up a permanent shop. “Someone suggested Wild Roots so I came in, loved it, and said let’s do this!” Said Manes.

The business is named in inspiration of Samantha’s 7 year old son, Grayson. “Grayson has Cerebral Palsy and is wheelchair bound. He always has a smile on his face and never lets anything get him down. He is just very ambitious.” Manes said.
