Dee (Danielle) Marie (Beardemphl) Piehl April 9, 1985 – October 21, 2023

Dee (Danielle) Marie (Beardemphl) Piehl was born in Aberdeen, SD on April 9, 1985 to Kelly Beardemphl and Gena (Wright) Rogers. Her childhood was split between the Redfield and Denver areas.
As a young child, Danielle spent a great deal of time with her Great-Grandparents and her Grandparents, as her parents were in school and college. She was a joy for them. She already had a great love for the arts; dancing, music, and doing crafts. Danielle went on vacation with her Grandparents several times. Her big buddy was her 10 year old Uncle, Kraig. They stayed buddies with phone and text always. Her elementary years were spent at numerous schools including; Northwestern (Mellette), where she was in the Missoula Play, Faulkton, Redfield, Central (Aberdeen), and Arapahoe High (Colorado). She went to College at NSU in Aberdeen.
After high school, Dee married Adam Piehl in 2005 and moved to Duluth, then later to Minneapolis. After Adam graduated college, they purchased a home in Houghton, SD and welcomed their first child, Lorelai in 2007 and then Adeline in 2009.

Dee was never one to stay in one place for long. She spent many years traveling and working various jobs before settling on Watertown, SD; where she worked for Twin City Tool and Die.

Dee filled her life with many friends from all the places she ever went. Passionate about music and art, she always loved to create and make gifts for her friends and family. Her own home was filled with many paintings and crafts she had made and she always encouraged her children to create art. Dee was also an avid wrestling fan and made special trips to watch matches with her close friends in Aberdeen, attending events in Fargo when she was able. She also loved taking family trips with her children and experiencing new things.

Dee always checked in on all her friends and family. She would start her day sending them pictures of her beloved cats or sharing funny pictures and memes. She was quick with a joke or encouragement any time someone was struggling and needed help. Dee herself, struggled with depression for many years and succumbed to her disease on October 21, 2023, in her home in Watertown, SD.

Grateful to have shared her life are her children, Lorelai and Adeline Piehl; her husband, Adam Piehl; her parents, Gina Rogers and Kelly Beardemphl; brother, Dieon Beardemphl; sister, Delane Rogers; Grandparents; Great- Grandparents; many uncles, aunts and cousins; and her entire chosen family of friends.

Dee was preceded in death by her Grandfather Wally Wright and Great-Grandfather Lester Shliebe.
