Party held at Eastern Star Home in honor of retiring pastor, Tim Fugman

On Thursday, August 27, a retirement party was held for Pastor Tim Fugman. Zelda Klebsch presented Pastor Fugman with a walking stick complete with "useful items" and performed a skit for Pastor Fugman. Pastor Fugman's last Sunday at the UCC Church was August 30.

Tulare resident: 2015 state 4-H bull riding champion

Gavin Schultz, 19-year-old son of Mark and Rhonda Schultz of Tulare is the 2015 State 4-H Bull Riding Champion. Gavin clinched the Championship Saddle on Sunday, August 16th scoring 77 points on his final ride. Gavin was also awarded the Dallas Heninger Memorial Buckle for the High Point Ride during the State Finals.

Plans for construction of new school building discussed

Over 90 parents and community members attended a public meeting held in the Redfield High School auditorium on August 24th to learn about the building analysis completed by Architecture Incorporated of Sioux Falls.
